Antiochian Women
The women of our community meet regularly for discussions, to go on outings together, to beautify the church and to pray. We also have a Christmas gathering and participate in the women activities of our neighboring parishes. All adult women are encouraged to participate in our women's group.
"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

Christian Education
From the fall through to the spring, our Church School is in session serving children from preschool through high school. We follow the Antiochian Archdiocese Curriculum and have multiple classes, divided by age.
In addition, we have adult education the first four Saturdays of each month, beginning at 4:00pm and completing before Great Vespers at 5:30pm.
See our calendar and bulletin for other educational opportunities at St. Simeon Church.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

Hospitality Ministry
Creating a welcoming environment is crucial for any parish. Hospitality is more than just a friendly face at the door. It’s about making everyone feel valued, included, and loved. A hospitable parish can foster a stronger sense of community and deepen the spiritual journey of both newcomers and long-time members.
Our Hospitality team greet each parishioner, make sure they have a bulletin and service text and can find a place to sit or stand in the church. They also introduce themselves to newcomers, and introduce them to the clergy after the services.
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13:2)

Men's Fellowship
The Men's Fellowship is open to all adult males within the parish community. We meet together to discuss, build friendships and community, and grow together fulfilling the meaning of being a man in an Orthodox context.
"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." (Proberbs 27:17)

Prosphora and Artos Baking
This ministry works to provide the prosphora (bread of offering) for our Divine Liturgy as well as the Artos bread for any Artoklasia service we may offer for a Great Feast or beloved saint.
Learn the proper methods and prayers associated with baking these breads, and be able offer up the bread which will become the Body of Christ.
He who offers the prosphora with a clean conscience offers Christ Himself to God. This bread which we prepare with our hands and offer with prayers, becomes the very Body of our Lord Jesus Christ. The offering of prosphora is not a mere ritual: it is an act of deep spritual significance, a physical manifestantion of our commitment to God and our participation in His divine mysteries" (St. John Chrysostom)

Young Adult Ministry
Our mission is to aid in the spiritual growth of the young adults within our parish, bringing them to a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We strive to foster an active Orthodox Faith in Christ through worship, spiritual renewal & education, service and fellowship. Our group ranges from ages 18-30 and meet monthly for various activities and outings. We sometimes join with the Young Adults of other parishes for group activities.
Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. (Isaiah 40:31)
