St. Simeon Orthodox Church was established in Santa Clarita, CA in November, 2013 as a mission church of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America under the vision and guidance of Metropolitan JOSEPH. We began with a handful of families celebrating weekly Vespers and in a few
short months that group grew to over 30 families and is now close to 50. Metropolitan JOSEPH celebrated our first Divine Liturgy on February 8, 2015 and officially granted us mission status.
St. Simeon was founded with one purpose in mind, to bring Orthodox Christianity to the Santa Clarita Valley. We have a mixture of "cradle Orthodox" American families of Arabic, Russian, and Greek decent along with many new converts to our Faith. Our services are
all in English and accessible to newcomers.

We invite you to join us anytime and discover the original Church established over 2,000 years ago. The present day Orthodox Church is a direct continuation of the very same Church started by St. Peter and St. Paul in the first century. We have preserved this same faith delivered to us by the Apostles, over 21 centuries of the Church’s life.
When you attend St. Simeon please bring your children, all ages are welcome and encouraged to come! A list of our regular weekly services is posted on the homepage of
this site.
